Tom,
I just got a letter from Joergen Foith of Karlsruhe, asking me to receive
the visit of one of his co-workers passing thru for WESCON.

I wonder if it would pay to devise a sort of standard schedule for what
should happen during such a visit (not all of which we can grant or even
acknowledge). There are many of us, so that it shouldn't take too much of
any one person's time to enlighten and be enlightened by a scientist
passing through.

What do you think of this?

ACRONYM

"r acronym;demo[mod,rod]"
It's self explanatory. I will update it as ACRONYM
grows. So far there is only an ARM demo.
If you run it in an office with two screens it uses
two, but it runs ok in offices with only one.

ADVANTAGES OF AL:

o Simultaneous motion of two arms

	o Via points

o On monitors - detect when a prespecified condition occurs and take

			appropriate action

	o World model

		- object can be affixed to one another

		- information can be stored concerning an object's size, weight,

number of sides, and how it can be grasped

o Modifies data base during runtime to correct for deviations from planned

			values
